Job Summary
Experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 7+ years at a Tier 1 National Law Firm, based in Lakeland with immediate opening. Responsibilities include managing client files through transactions and due diligence, conducting title and survey reviews, analyzing and drafting contracts, leases, conveyance documents and related loans; reviewing due diligence materials (including zoning, environmental and property condition reports); coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors and local counsel; and handling multiple projects autonomously with strong time management and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
- Strong time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage client files throughout transactions and due diligence
- Detailed knowledge of transaction process from contract/lease execution through post-closing
- Background in title and survey review, objection and cure process
- Experience reading and drafting contracts, leases, and related conveyance documents
- Ability to read and understand contracts and leases and abstract them
- Ability to understand and draft commercial documents related to conveyance, acquisitions, leases and loans
- Ability to review due diligence materials and identify issues (zoning, environmental, property condition reports)
- Understanding of corporate/entity documents
- Ability to collaborate with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, local counsel
