Job Summary
Assist REB Client Executives in relationship management and business development, participating in the Banking Associate program to develop skills toward more senior roles. Focus on delivering value-added solutions, fostering internal relationships (Risk, Product Specialists, Treasury Services, Real Estate Investment Banking), and supporting financial modeling, prescreening, market sizing, and client planning analysis. Ensure adherence to AML/KYC, credit exposure, daily transactional, and reputational risk standards while advancing through the program toward Client Executive. Requires BS/BA and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and multitasking capability.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree
- 2+ years of credit analyst experience in Commercial Banking or Investment Banking, focused in real estate
- Completion of a major corporate bank credit training program (or equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance experience)
- Superior Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills
- Superior analytical, quantitative, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail, as well as a proactive and creative mindset
- Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
