Job Summary
Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on commercial real estate matters, structuring and executing acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across office, retail, logistics, healthcare, and data center asset classes. Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, and joint venture agreements while managing due diligence including title, survey, environmental, and zoning reviews. Advise on development projects from entitlement through completion and collaborate with tax, construction, and planning teams. This Associate Attorney role at a global AmLaw 100 firm supports the firm's platform across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, with a salary range of $215,000 to $310,000 and hybrid work in New York.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited US law school
- Four to six years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm
- New York Bar admission or ability to become admitted promptly
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Exposure to institutional clients, private equity funds and REITs
- Familiarity with real estate development and capital markets structures
