Job Summary
Oversee the financial performance of assigned commercial properties by providing monthly reporting, managing budgets, and analyzing variances to maximize asset value. Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate property conditions, coordinate maintenance work orders, and supervise vendors and personnel to ensure established standards. Develop capital improvement plans, approve invoices, and manage tenant move-in/out procedures while maintaining strong relationships with owners and clients. Participate in property transitions and proactively recommend solutions to address operational needs. This full-time, primarily on-site role requires flexibility based on business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial property management, real estate, asset management, finance, or a related field
- Indiana real estate broker's license preferred or ability to obtain one, if applicable
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to understand budgets, financial statements, expenses, and variances
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to gather, analyze, and manipulate data
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties, projects, and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Ability to anticipate challenges, take initiative, and follow through on responsibilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to pass a required background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience with property management or work order systems such as Yardi, Corrigo, or similar platforms preferred
- Passion for commercial real estate and property management
