Job Summary
Set site inspection appointments with clients via email and phone, then conduct physical inspections of commercial properties within your assigned territory. Perform visual assessments of exterior areas, interior common spaces, occupied and vacant units, and mechanical systems, including climbing fixed vertical ladders. Take digital photos using your own camera or tablet, then type and insert images into reports via the company website, Excel, or Word. Schedule inspections at the mutual convenience of the inspector and property contact while working independently to meet strict deadlines. Availability is required for at least two full days with a flexible schedule set by the individual inspector. Mileage reimbursement and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision
- Ability to adequately assess the physical condition of a property
- Prepare clear and concise reports
- Strong computer, typing, and internet skills
- Own a PC-based (non-Apple) computer with Windows 10 or newer
- Access to Microsoft Excel and Word (Version 2013 or newer)
- Be a self-starter and require little motivation
- Stays on top of assignments, avoiding last-minute crunches
- Follows directions and instructions carefully
- Be detail-oriented and well-organized with a flexible schedule
- Availability to work at least two full days
- Ability to climb fixed vertical ladders
- Access to a reliable car with the ability to cover a wide territory
