Job Summary
Set site inspection appointments with clients via email or phone, then conduct physical inspections of properties within an assigned territory. Perform visual assessments of exterior areas, interior common spaces, and mechanical systems, including roof examinations. Capture digital photos using personal camera or tablet equipment and input them into reports via the company system or Excel/Word. Manage scheduling based on mutual convenience and adhere to strict deadlines while operating independently. Requires reliable transportation, own computer, and physical capability to climb fixed vertical ladders. Offers flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, paid training, and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- experience in real estate, appraisal, home inspections, construction, or property management
- ability to adequately assess the physical condition of a property
- good communication skills
- good computer skills
- their own equipment for use on the job (camera, computer, printer, and scanner)
- reliable transportation
- physically capable of inspecting all areas of a property, including roofs
- ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision
- Own a PC-based (non-Apple) computer with Windows 10 or newer
- Access to Microsoft Excel and Word (Version 2013 or newer)
- Be a self-starter and require little motivation
- Stays on top of assignments, avoiding last-minute crunches
- Follows directions and instructions carefully
- Be detail-oriented and well-organized with a flexible schedule
- Availability to work at least two full days
- Ability to climb fixed vertical ladders
- Access to a reliable car with the ability to cover a wide territory
