Job Summary
Assist loan officers in managing and monitoring loan portfolios, including underwriting new and existing loans, performing financial tracking and member interactions. Duties involve preparing loan summaries, monitoring loan renewals, completing reports, and assisting with special projects to enhance loan management efficiency. Requires excellent member service, communication skills, and knowledge of lending practices and financial analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent member service skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external members
- Familiar with effective lending and underwriting practices
- Experience with analyzing financial statements and underwriting commercial credit
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well with various internal departments to achieve team goals and objectives
- Knowledge of banking industry policies and procedures
- Computer skills (Word and Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Experience with banking to include small business, credit operations, and/or credit underwriting skills
