Job Summary
Manage assigned C&I commercial relationships by performing independent credit analysis, monitoring covenant compliance, and evaluating emerging risks to recommend rating changes. Conduct financial statement and cash flow analysis for owner-occupied and investor properties, analyzing rent rolls and occupancy trends to assess collateral performance. Serve as the primary portfolio contact for borrowers regarding renewals and servicing, while assisting in structuring new lending transactions and preparing credit approval packages. Coordinate with Commercial Relationship Managers to strengthen customer relationships and provide guidance to less experienced analysts. Participate in site visits and support portfolio growth initiatives through proactive borrower engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) to six (6) years of commercial banking, credit analysis, portfolio management, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, commercial real estate underwriting principles, and loan documentation
- Ability to independently evaluate borrower performance and credit risk
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision
- Transport up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of commercial real estate valuation concepts, lease analysis, debt service coverage, collateral evaluation, and commercial real estate market fundamentals preferred
- Experience supporting commercial real estate loan portfolios, including investor and owner-occupied properties
- Experience analyzing commercial property cash flow, rent rolls, appraisals and collateral performance
