Job Summary
Commercial Maintenance Technician for pools who will provide consistent quality pool cleaning and maintenance service, developing and maintaining a base of satisfied clients. Responsibilities include checking water chemistry and balancing pool water, brushing, vacuuming, tile cleaning, debris removal, minor repairs and programming of pool equipment, maintaining organized work areas, loading and recording stock on-site, recording materials for invoicing, reporting maintenance problems, nurturing customer relationships with pool guests and on-site maintenance staff, documenting visits via the company reporting system, updating DOH logs, and managing 6-10 pools 2-3 times per week. Requires 38–42 hour workweek, professional appearance, mature demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors." ,
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year minimum experience of COMMERCIAL POOL SERVICE IS MANDATORY
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred by not required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be over 21 with a clean driving record (insurance requirement)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Professional appearance
- Mature minded
- Excellent customer relationship building and communication
- Ability to start and hold conversations when necessary
- Availability to work Monday – Friday
- Loves working outside
- Must have working knowledge and troubleshooting skills for feeder pump and controllers, pump systems, filtration systems (DE and Cartridge)
