Commercial Pool Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary
Clean and maintain commercial pools by skimming debris, vacuuming, and performing chemical treatments to ensure safety and aesthetic standards. Periodically empty pools for deep cleaning, including brushing walls and floors, while regularly testing water for pH, chlorine, and bacterial presence. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, plumbing, and filtration systems to reduce downtime, and perform repairs on automation and piping. Complete daily logs of chemical usage and inspections, providing regular reports to management on conditions and schedules. Resolve client concerns promptly and communicate regarding maintenance needs. Requires high school diploma, one year of commercial pool experience, and ability to lift 80 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to manage client relationships
- Extensive knowledge of commercial pool systems, including repairs, automation, equipment, and plumbing
- Strong mechanical and manual labor skills for maintaining aquatic facilities and related equipment
- Proficiency in math for calculating chemical ratios and additives
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to maintain accurate logs and reports
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of related experience in pool maintenance, preferably in a commercial or large-scale setting
- Must be capable of lifting up to 80 pounds
- Adequate sight and hearing to accurately interpret water analysis, equipment readings, and ensure safety
- Physically able to perform all aspects of pool cleaning, monitoring, and facility maintenance
