Commercial Plumbing Superintendent II

Job Summary
Manage daily job site operations for large commercial plumbing projects, supervising field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Coordinate activities across multiple trades, lead project meetings, and conduct site inspections to verify safety, quality, and compliance with specifications. Develop project schedules, plan manpower needs, and oversee installation of major components like HVAC and piping systems while enforcing OSHA standards and QA/QC procedures. Serve as the primary contact for Project Managers and subcontractors to resolve field challenges and manage change orders. Requires travel and Master Plumber Licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction or mechanical contracting
- 2–3 years in a supervisory role
- Master Plumber Licenses
- OSHA 10 certification
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- Strong technical understanding of Plumbing and mechanical construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
- Effective communicator with strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient in project management and field software (e.g., MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, Vista)
- Proven ability to coordinate complex schedules, resolve conflicts, and meet deadlines
- Deep knowledge of safety regulations and best construction practices
- Ability to work on active construction sites, including climbing ladders, lifting up to 75 lbs., and standing/walking for extended periods
- Must be able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to travel
Desired Qualifications
- Aerial and/or tenching certifications
- Experience with multi-trade coordination
