Job Summary
Install commercial plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects, completing rough-in and finish work across domestic water, sanitary/vent, gas, and mechanical piping systems. Read and interpret blueprints to layout piping and fixtures, coordinating with foremen and other trades while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety. Work independently or as part of a larger crew, supporting and mentoring apprentices as assigned. Monday through Friday schedule with no on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing construction installations, from rough-in through finish
- Ability to communicate effectively in English to read plans, follow safety instructions and coordinate with jobsite teams
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with acceptable driving record and ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug and background checks
- Monday - Friday schedule with NO ON CALL ROTATION
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Plumbing license
- Medical Gas certification or willingness to become certified
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings and specifications, with a solid understanding of plumbing and ADA codes and OSHA standards
- Hands-on experience with common commercial piping materials and installation methods
- Scissor lift, boom lift, and rough-terrain forklift certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)
