Job Summary
Install commercial plumbing systems for new construction, tenant build-outs, additions, and remodeling projects using industry-specific personal tools. Troubleshoot plumbing problems to find effective solutions while maintaining strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Work independently and as part of a team, communicating clearly with customers and colleagues. Lift and carry moderate weight (50-75 pounds) and perform tasks in confined spaces, including sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and repetitive hand motions. Requires an Allen County Journeyman Plumbers License or active pursuit of one, plus two years of work experience. May experience prolonged and irregular work hours with frequent interruptions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Completion of a Plumbing Apprenticeship
- At least (2) years of work experience
- Industry-specific personal tools
- Relevant industry certification
- Proficient in troubleshooting plumbing problems and finding effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and/or carry moderate weight (50-75 pounds)
- Sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, repetitive hand motions, hear, speak
- May experience prolonged and irregular work hours
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions
- Allen County Journeyman Plumbers License or Plumbing Contractors License, or be actively working toward obtaining one
