Job Summary
Lead field plumbing crews on commercial projects, driving sales-oriented outcomes while delivering hands-on leadership. Responsibilities include preparing accurate cost estimates and takeoffs, reviewing plans and bid documents, soliciting and evaluating vendor/subcontractor pricing, assisting with bid preparation and cost analysis, tracking job costs, and coordinating with project managers, inspectors, and other trades. Maintain safety and code compliance, manage daily work plans and crew assignments, order materials, maintain project documentation, and support relationships with property managers, general contractors, and commercial clients to advance project opportunities and close work orders.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading field crews on commercial plumbing projects
- Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and perform material takeoffs
- Strong coordination with property managers, general contractors, and commercial clients
- Knowledge of safety, code, and contract requirements for commercial plumbing
- Willingness to relocate to San Angelo, TX
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to review plans and bid documents; assist with value engineering and cost analysis
- Vendor and subcontractor pricing evaluation
- Experience tracking job costs and managing project documentation
- Ability to supervise and coordinate crews on commercial job sites
