Job Summary
Assist in rough-ins, groundworks, and installing plumbing systems in commercial buildings while reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Assemble, install, and secure pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications, then test systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques, maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on job sites, adhering to local plumbing codes and industry standards while working collaboratively with Journeyman Plumbers, project managers, and other trades.
Required Qualifications
- 3rd or 4th Year Registered Plumbing Apprentice in good standing
- At least two years of experience in commercial plumbing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and perform manual labour
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Commitment to workplace safety and company policies
- Ambition to learn new tasks and skills
