Job Summary
Mid-Level Commercial Plumber needed to install, maintain, and repair plumbing and drainage systems for restaurants, commercial kitchens, and other commercial properties. Responsibilities include installing water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, diagnosing issues with pipes, water heaters, dishwashers, sinks, and toilets, assisting in new installations for renovations or new construction, conducting preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with local building codes and health and safety regulations (especially in foodservice environments), and delivering excellent client service with clear communication and proper documentation. Preferred experience includes commercial kitchen plumbing, grease traps, backflow testing, and familiarity with HVAC systems related to plumbing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plumbing with focus on commercial and restaurant systems
- Valid plumbing license or certification in the state/country of employment
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards; ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Skillful use of plumbing tools and equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift heavy materials, work in tight spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong verbal communication skills; ability to interact with team members and clients
- Willingness to work on-call hours or weekends as needed
