Job Summary
Experienced Commercial Plumber sought in Charleston, SC to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on commercial construction and renovation projects; responsibilities include installing, assembling, and repairing piping, fittings, fixtures, and water heaters; reading blueprints to plan layouts; cutting, threading, and assembling pipe; testing systems for leaks; adhering to safety standards and building codes; coordinating with other trades; maintaining a clean, organized work area; and following supervisor directions to complete jobs on schedule. Requires 3+ years of experience, ability to read blueprints, knowledge of codes, valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to travel between job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a commercial plumber
- Familiarity with plumbing tools, techniques, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics
- Strong knowledge of state and local plumbing codes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to travel between job sites within the region
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
