Job Summary
Install and repair plumbing systems in commercial settings by reading blueprints and specifications to determine layout; install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, and appliances; troubleshoot leaks, blockages, and low water pressure using diagnostic tools; perform regular inspections and maintenance; install heating and cooling systems such as boilers, furnaces, and air conditioning units; communicate with clients to understand needs and provide guidance on maintenance and energy efficiency; adhere to safety regulations and protect workers; maintain accurate records; work independently or as part of a team; strong customer service required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures and systems
- Skill or experience using power tools
- Knowledge of or experience working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines
- Experience with or knowledge of using hand-powered tools
- Experience with driving commercial vehicles
- Skill or experience safely lifting and moving heavy objects while preventing injury, either alone or with a teammate
- Exceptional customer service skills
