Job Summary

Install, assemble, and maintain complex piping systems for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical projects by measuring, cutting, threading, and welding steel, copper, and plastic pipes. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure installations align with design specifications, codes, and safety standards while collaborating with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet schedule and budget goals. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems, including pressure testing, leak detection, and repair, while adhering to OSHA regulations and using proper PPE. In and out of state travel is required to multiple construction sites within the US.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete Form I-9 upon hire.
  • Employment subject to E-Verify confirmation.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple construction sites within the U.S. and present acceptable identification for security or travel purposes.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to meet job-site access requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in pipefitting or a related trade
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal plumbing and mechanical codes and regulations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
  • Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and elevated environments
  • Ability to hear, speak, and communicate clearly on active jobsites

Desired Qualifications

  • Completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program
  • Certification or licensure as a pipefitter or plumber
  • Experience with welding, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding techniques
  • Ability to operate a variety of pipefitting tools and equipment
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects
