Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify pest infestations, entry points, and damage. Apply approved pest control products including chemicals, baits, and traps while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Educate customers on prevention methods, maintain equipment, and build relationships to drive sales and expand product offerings. Work in tight, confined spaces and operate a company vehicle, wearing required PPE such as OSHA-compliant respirators. Available Monday through Saturday with base pay ranging from $20.00 to $26.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information in both internal and external settings
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Clean shaven face
- Ability to work both inside and outside in local climate
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Ability to work around animals, insects and termites
- Ability to work around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding
- Ability to handle fumes, dust, and chemicals safely
- Ability to regularly sit, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Ability to work up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to drive and safely operate a company provided service vehicle
