Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points. Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Educate customers on prevention methods and maintain relationships to schedule appointments and expand product offerings. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stocked. Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle, working in tight confined spaces and both inside and outside in local climates. Wear personal protective equipment including an OSHA-compliant respirator. Perform duties Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean shaven face
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to undergo motor vehicle driving record check
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information in both internal and external settings
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Successfully meet pre-employment background screen
- License/certificate as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
