Job Summary
Commercial Pest Control Technician responsible for thorough inspections of commercial properties, identifying pest infestations, applying approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) with adherence to safety standards, and educating clients on preventative measures. Role includes scheduling/confirming appointments, assisting with sales to current customers, expanding services to new customers, maintaining equipment, and complying with local/state/federal regulations. Requires completing inspections, selecting appropriate treatments, operating company vehicle, and wearing PPE as needed; HS diploma or GED and valid driver's license are required. Emphasizes customer communication, safety, and adherence to regulations; opportunities for growth within the Rentokil network and related brand offerings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
- Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
