Job Summary
Commercial Pest Control Technician responsible for inspecting client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, determining pest type, applying approved pest control products (pesticides, baits, traps) while adhering to safety standards, and educating customers on prevention methods. Role includes maintaining equipment, scheduling and confirming appointments, assisting with sales to current customers, and following local, state, and federal safety regulations. Requires ability to work both indoors and outdoors, work in confined spaces, wear PPE (including OSHA-compliant respirator), and operate a company-provided service vehicle. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, related experience or training (or equivalent), valid driver's license, and ability to communicate effectively; physical tasks involve frequent movement, climbing, and handling materials in varied environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
- Possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
