Job Summary
Commercial Performance Analyst – Home Claims with Hastings Direct to drive data-driven decision-making by leading performance insight across Home Claims. Translate complex data into actionable insights to improve cost, operational performance and customer outcomes. Utilize SQL and Snowflake to source and structure large datasets, apply advanced analytics including AI and predictive modelling to forecast, triage and cost control, and partner across Commercial, Operations, Supplier and Analytics to align data, insights and delivery. Drive data quality, data structures and automated reporting to reduce manual effort and enable scalable improvements in the Home Claims model.
Required Qualifications
- Strong SQL experience
- Snowflake data platform experience
- PowerBI or equivalent data visualization tools
- Experience in data analysis within commercial, operational or claims environments (ideally Home Claims)
- Commercial mindset with ability to link analysis to business outcomes (cost reduction, efficiency, customer experience)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
- Curiosity about applying AI, automation and new analytical techniques to improve performance
