Job Summary
Professional-level sales role focused on profitable growth of the Advance Auto Parts commercial business. Responsible for maintaining commercial customer relationships, achieving sales and service objectives, supervising Team Members, dispatching drivers to ensure on-time delivery, and collaborating with the GM on coaching and development. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, ability to source from multiple channels (special order, FDO, second source), and strong selling skills for commercial customers; ASE P2 certification or equivalent is preferred. The role emphasizes working days, evenings, and weekends as needed, operating stocking programs, and leveraging inventory and POS systems to support customer needs and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ASE certification preferred
- ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Minimum 3 years of automotive parts or related sales experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
