Job Summary
Commercial Parts Pro with responsibility for maintaining commercial customer relationships and driving profitable growth in the commercial automotive parts segment. Requires expert automotive parts knowledge, ability to source from multiple channels (special order, FDO, second source), and to dispatch drivers to ensure timely delivery. Responsibilities include supervising Team Members (with GM collaboration), achieving sales goals, managing commercial stocking programs, and maintaining commercial credit accounts. Essential skills include strong communication, inventory systems proficiency, parts lookup/POS operation, and multitasking across a dynamic retail environment. ASE P2 certification or equivalent readiness is noted; English (Spanish a plus) language skills and the ability to work varied days including weekends are required. The role is full-time with a compensation range of $20.75-$23.09 per hour, plus commissions; location specified as Utica, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- 3+ years prior automotive parts experience preferred
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs
- basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel)
- spoken and written English; Spanish a plus
- ASE P2 cerified or ASE ready equivalent
