Job Summary
Commercial Parts Pro responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business through customer retention and growth, partnering with the GM to manage Team Members, and leveraging expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The role sources parts from multiple channels (special orders, FDO, second sources), directs drivers to ensure timely deliveries, maintains commercial stocking programs, and builds a network of suppliers. Essential duties include maintaining commercial customer relationships, achieving sales goals, providing supervisory support to Team Members, and collaborating on coaching with the GM. Required skills include strong selling ability for commercial customers, familiarity with inventory and POS systems, ability to read safety and operations manuals, and effective communication and problem solving. ASE P2 certification or equivalent is preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus. The position is full-time with potential for commission based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred
- strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts
- ability to source from multiple channels (special order, FDO, second source)
- ability to supervise and coordinate with GM and drivers
- proficiency with POS and inventory systems
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- bilingual Spanish a plus
