Job Summary

Commercial Parts Pro responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. The role partners with the General Manager to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. Primary duties include maintaining commercial customer relationships, achieving store sales goals, providing GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers, supervising daily tasks of Team Members, coordinating with the GM on coaching and development, dispatching drivers to ensure timely delivery, maintaining commercial stocking programs, and building a network of second-source suppliers. Secondary responsibilities include maintaining core bank and commercial returns, managing commercial credit accounts, and ensuring proper driver coverage. Essential skills include strong communication, knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability, proficiency with inventory, POS and parts lookup systems, and the ability to source from various channels (special orders, FDO, second source). The role requires English (Spanish a plus), basic math, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel; ASE certification is preferred. The position supports flexible days including evenings and weekends and offers sales commission based on performance. Equal Employment Opportunity employer.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ASE certification preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of automotive parts experience
  • English required; Spanish a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory systems, POS, parts lookup, and automotive diagnostics
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to use basic math in a professional setting
  • Ability to multitask and work flexible days including evenings/weekends
  • Ability to collaborate with GM for coaching and development
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate Team Members
  • Prior experience in commercial parts sales and customer relationship management
  • ASE P2 certification or ready equivalent preferred
