Job Summary
Commercial Parts Pro is a full-time automotive parts sales role focused on profitable growth of the commercial business through maintaining key customer relationships, delivering parts efficiently, and supervising Team Members. The role requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, ability to source from multiple channels (including special order, FDO, second sources), and collaboration with the General Manager on coaching and development. Primary duties include maintaining commercial customer relationships, achieving sales goals, dispatching drivers to meet delivery standards, maintaining stocking programs, and building a network of suppliers. Essential skills include English communication (Spanish a plus), reading and interpreting safety and parts literature, basic math, inventory systems, POS and parts lookup proficiency, and strong organizational abilities. ASE certification or readiness, advanced selling and multitasking capabilities, and the ability to work a variable schedule (days, evenings, weekends) are valued. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ASE certification preferred (not required)
- 3+ years automotive parts experience preferred
- ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent
- English required; Spanish a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
