Job Summary
The Commercial Panel Installer - Lead at Omni Glass & Paint will follow safety rules, read blueprints, measure and cut metal panels, and install components as per project specifications. Key responsibilities include fastening panels, maintaining worksite organization, and conducting inspections for defects. Essential skills include precision cutting, use of tools, effective communication, and basic mathematical calculations. Candidates must hold a high school diploma and possess a valid driver’s license, with experience in construction preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to measure and cut metal and framing materials with precision
- Skilled use of hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication tools
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to read a blueprint
- Experience working on construction sites with multiple subcontractor trades
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to work professionally with others
- Able to follow instructions
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years of commercial carpentry, façade installation, or related work
