Job Summary
Lead a crew of 5–10 individuals safely and productively while overseeing surface preparation, priming, sanding, sealing, and painting using varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat-resistant finishes. Manage equipment maintenance and repair, including multi-level scaffolding, extension ladders, and spray systems, while ensuring proper PPE usage and a safe work environment. Complete daily field reports, timecards, production reports, and tickets for change orders. Assist in continuous training and development of field staff. Requires 5+ years of commercial painting experience with proven supervisory skills, knowledge of safety regulations, and ability to read blueprints. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial painting, including proven supervisory or foreman experience
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to painting and construction activities
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
