Job Summary
Lead a crew of 5-10 individuals safely and productively, overseeing surface preparation, priming, sanding, sealing, and painting using materials like varnish, lacquer, epoxy, and heat-resistant finishes. Manage equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring proper PPE usage and tool upkeep for a safe work environment. Complete daily field reports, timecards, production reports, and tickets, including processing change orders. Maintain extensive knowledge of painting materials, application methods, and quality control while representing the company positively on client job sites. Assist in training and development of field staff. Requires 5+ years of commercial painting experience with supervisory skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in operating multi-level scaffolding and spray systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial painting, including proven supervisory or foreman experience
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to painting and construction activities
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read drawings/blueprints is a plus
