Job Summary
The successful candidate will perform routine to moderately complex surface preparation, painting, and finishing tasks on interior and exterior surfaces of commercial structures, applying paints, sealers, and finishes across various substrates. Responsibilities include caulking, finish repair, mud and tape, texturing, operating airless spray equipment, scaffolding, and lifts, renewing exterior window/door caulking with high-reach tools, and performing refinishing tasks such as staining and sealing. Ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment, adhere to project timelines and client specifications, and survey sites to estimate time and material quantities. Must have 2+ years of related experience and a valid US driver’s license; OSHA/safety training preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial painting
- Experience working on large commercial projects (e.g., offices, airports, warehouses)
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation methods
- Ability to operate spray equipment and other painting tools
- OSHA certification or safety training (Preferred)
- Experience with lifts, scaffolding, and working at heights
- Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience
