Commercial Order Entry Representative

Job Summary
Process customer equipment orders by verifying pricing, shipping details, documentation, and order information. Place orders with vendors, follow up on status, and maintain organized job files while communicating discrepancies to internal teams. Monitor orders to ensure required signatures, special instructions, and supporting documentation are received. Provide professional customer service via phone and email to internal and external customers, coordinating with sales and departments to support timely fulfillment. Adhere to established Koch Air policies and procedures. This role supports the Commercial Sales team at Koch Air, LLC, a leading Carrier distributor serving the Midwest with extensive warehousing and delivery capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to occasionally lift or exert up to 20 pounds of force
- Ability to frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force
- Ability to use a computer and phone for extended periods
- Ability to perform primarily sedentary work for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Minimum of 2 years of complex customer service or related experience
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative with a positive, professional attitude
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
