Commercial Operations/Supply Chain Students - Multiple Positions

Job Summary
Support sourcing cycles through RFP/RFQ preparation, evaluations, and contract administration while maintaining compliance records. Manage procurement and inventory activities to ensure material availability, track supplier performance metrics, and update data within Supply Management systems. Collaborate on analytics initiatives by developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations to deliver actionable insights for decision-making. Assist in implementing new technology solutions, testing digital tools, and enhancing governance documentation. Work alongside industry professionals in a fast-paced team environment to contribute to continuous improvement and special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Systems, Operations Management or similar programs
- Business mindset with a daily focus on continuous improvement
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Effective with time management and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Utilizes a structured approach for problem solving
- Effective interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to the changing environment
- Awareness of the fundamentals of buying, contract development/formation and contract administration
- Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Python, R, SQL, etc.
- All candidates applying to Canadian Natural must have legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
- Must be available for the shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday - Friday)
- Must be available for term lengths of 4, 8 or 12 months
- Must be available for term starts in January or May 2027
