Commercial Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Own campaign execution by maintaining tracking systems as the source of truth for active and upcoming campaigns, configuring, launching, and quality-checking ads across newsletters, podcasts, and events. Manage creative production by converting partner talking points into on-brand copy, reviewing assets for brand safety, and coordinating logistics between partners, internal teams, and vendors. Drive reporting and reconciliation by monitoring delivery, evaluating partnership performance, reconciling campaign commitments with finance, and preparing billing and renewal reports. Serve as the primary contact for a defined book of partners, handling the full lifecycle from assets to wrap materials while improving internal processes and tooling. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, one to two years in operations or campaign management, and fluency with spreadsheets. Located in Washington, D.C., with a 401(k) match and equity participation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- One or two years in operations, campaign management, account coordination, project management, or a comparable detail-heavy role—ideally at a small or fast-moving organization
- Genuine comfort with detail work
- The ability to hold many deadlines at once without dropping any of them, and to reset priorities when they shift
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Fluency with spreadsheets, and the ability to pick up new platforms quickly and on your own
- A client-focused instinct
- Location: Washington, D.C., preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with podcast advertising, digital advertising, or event sponsorship
- Hands-on experience with ad-serving, podcast-hosting, or campaign-management platforms
