Job Summary
Prepare and approve customer proposals by reviewing documents, formatting materials, and analyzing contract terms and pricing summaries for governance. Assist with negotiations by creating plans, packs, and supporting booklets while managing shared team communications and triaging incoming requests. Coordinate internal meetings, track actions, and prepare senior meeting materials to maintain commercial governance and support continuous improvement across processes. Present information clearly for internal and external stakeholders using strong document management and stakeholder coordination skills. This role underpins the efficiency of customer commercial activity within Rolls-Royce SMR's Small Modular Reactor program, supporting delivery across the UK, Czechia, and Sweden.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting commercial contracting or pricing activities, or the ability to quickly learn how contracting and pricing models operate
- Experience supporting the management of contracts or commercial agreements
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple workstreams, maintain records, prepare documentation and support shared inbox management
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and document‐management skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Teams/SharePoint
- Strong written communication skills and experience preparing stakeholder‐ready materials
- Experience interfacing with stakeholders across a variety of functions
- Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
- Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
- Location & Ways of Working: This role can be based from our Manchester office, with hybrid working and regular weekly attendance expected
- Some travel may be required depending on project or customer needs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry contract forms such as NEC, FIDIC, JCT or similar (advantageous but not essential)
