Job Summary
Meet with property managers, building owners, and facility leaders to identify mechanical needs, perform site walks to assess HVAC systems, and develop scopes of work for service and capital projects. Present mechanical solutions in person, build job estimates including labor and materials, and prepare professional proposals to ensure projects meet margin targets. Secure signed agreements, coordinate handoffs to operations, and prospect new commercial accounts to expand services within existing client portfolios. This field-driven role supports a growing commercial mechanical contractor in the Dallas market, focusing on repairing, retrofitting, and managing tenant buildouts for facility teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, facilities services, or construction sales
- Experience selling mechanical repairs, service agreements, retrofits, or capital projects
- Ability to build estimates and review drawings/plans
- Comfortable working in the field and conducting job walks
- Proven track record of closing commercial service or project work
