Job Summary
Commercial HVAC Installation Technician role responsible for installing HVAC systems on commercial construction projects, including rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, exhaust/ventilation, and make-up air; install and assemble ductwork, diffusers, grilles, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and equipment supports; read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings, coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain schedules, ensure compliance with codes, perform start-up and system verification, maintain project documentation, and follow OSHA safety policies. Requires ability to work from ladders/lifts/rooftops, and operate construction tools and vehicles; offers competitive pay, health benefits, PTO, holidays, and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation experience.
- Experience with commercial HVAC equipment and construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical plans.
- Knowledge of HVAC installation practices and mechanical codes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, rooftops, and construction environments.
