Job Summary
Senior commercial professional responsible for pre/post contract activities including procurement strategy, cost control, and commercial assurance across complex construction/infrastructure contracts within IPTs. Provides expert commercial advice across the full project lifecycle, partnering with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value for money, regulatory and contractual compliance, and collaborative working with alliancing/partnering approaches. Leads cost management, forecasts, budgets, and final accounts; negotiates contracts; manages contract administration and change control; guides direct reports; supports tendering and post-contract negotiations; ensures governance and reporting to senior stakeholders; emphasizes leadership, integrity, and inclusion. Essential skills include cost forecasting, valuation, change control, and stakeholder management; desirable experience in regulated/public-sector environments and managing procurement staff. The role requires BPSS clearance and may require SC clearance in the future. The role is based at West Burton, Nottinghamshire with onsite presence 3 days per week; hybrid remote option indicated.
