Job Summary
Commercial Manager responsible for leading commercial strategy, contract management, risk and claims management, financial oversight, change management, procurement and supply chain support, and stakeholder engagement across large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects. Oversees contract negotiation/administration, assesses and mitigates risks, supports cost forecasting and cash flow analysis, manages variations and change control, collaborates on tender evaluations and supplier terms, and mentors a team of contract administrators and commercial staff. Requires 10+ years of experience in commercial management, strong knowledge of contract law and procurement strategies, familiarity with NEC/FIDIC frameworks, and experience with EPC/EPCM and mining or construction contracts. Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s or MBA is preferred. Remote/hybrid work approach is noted, with Calgary, Alberta, Canada location.
