Job Summary
Commercial Manager – Maritime APAC role focused on selling a disruptive technology solution to clients in the commodities market. Responsibilities include outbound prospecting via email, chat, and phone; identifying key decision-makers; arranging meetings and following up on inquiries; delivering value-based sales pitches; maintaining accurate CRM records (Salesforce); juggling multiple priorities; collaborating with internal teams; and leveraging shipping, maritime, and/or container industry knowledge to drive commercial conversations. Required skills include strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities; experience prospecting, generating leads, and closing new business; proactive, hunter mentality; self-motivation and resilience; and fluency in English. Preferably existing maritime industry contacts and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years’ experience in new business sales or business development, ideally within maritime, shipping, logistics, commodities, B2B SaaS, or data solutions.
