Commercial Manager - Retrofit

Manage the commercial and financial performance of social housing contracts, ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations. Prepare, monitor, and report on project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, supporting monthly cost value reconciliations and KPI monitoring. Administer contracts in accordance with JCT and NEC forms, interpret terms for operational teams, and resolve commercial disputes. Develop procurement strategies, negotiate subcontractor agreements, and monitor supply chain performance. Review valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts, ensuring accurate variation valuation and recovery of additional costs. Build relationships with housing associations and local authorities, attend client meetings, and produce accurate monthly commercial reports. Assist with annual budgets and revenue forecasting, ensuring timely invoicing and debt management.
