Job Summary
Oversee contract documentation, draft contractual correspondence, and lead material procurement strategies while negotiating subcontract agreements. Build strong post-contract relationships with design teams and clients, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed plans. Manage variations to optimise project value, certify subcontractor valuations, and conduct cost-value reconciliations. Monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery and drive the professional development of the commercial team. This permanent role in the Solent offers a salary of £80,000 plus car allowance and benefits, requiring an HNC/HND/BSc in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying with Chartered status preferred.
Required Qualifications
- HNC/HND/BSc in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
- Full UK driving license
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered status or RICS membership
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant placement
- Some knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects
