Job Summary
Manage capital expenditure tracking and external quantity surveyor relationships to drive cost reductions through trend analysis and data interpretation. Monitor spend across all capital streams, consolidate monthly performance insights with finance, and provide cash forecasting data. Escalate risks and cost pressures early while implementing mitigation strategies, and maintain property governance by ensuring documentation compliance. Build strong supplier relationships to enforce commercial discipline and offer advice to property and construction teams.
Required Qualifications
- Achieved a relevant commercial management qualification, or you have equivalent experience
- Experience of working with both clients and contractors
- Previous construction or retail experience
- Experience in budget management – end to end cycle
- The ability to manage budgets, analyse commercial data, and control project cost performance
