Job Summary
Lead proposal development and customer negotiations for CLS MYA contracts, including new unit agreements, renegotiations, and standalone services. Qualify opportunities, draft complex commercial terms, and execute risk assessment and mitigation strategies across finance, engineering, and legal stakeholders. Perform financial analysis, scenario planning, and pricing strategy to support Deal Reviews and internal approvals while managing tender schedules and Salesforce pipeline forecasts. Collaborate with internal business lines and external clients to drive sales targets and margin growth, ensuring accurate handovers to Order to Remittance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering or equivalent knowledge
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in Power business tendering
- Prior experience with multi-year transaction risk evaluation & mitigation
- Understanding of complex financial multi-year models and advanced-level formula driven spreadsheets
- Willingness to travel, 30%
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English language
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in Software & Controls Solutions (SCS) Business Product Lines
- Prior technical and/or field experience
- Prior experience with contract drafting – managing & negotiating complex commercial and legal terms & conditions
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally, gain consensus with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritize simultaneously
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team as circumstances dictate
- Self-motivated, high energy, positive individual loving commercial challenges
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
