Job Summary
Lead commercial and financial management for IO's major infrastructure and real estate projects, directing commercial strategy, transaction structuring, and due diligence across multi-disciplinary teams. Structure transactions by integrating market intelligence and lessons learned to optimize outcomes, design and execute financial and commercial evaluations, review delivery models and contract security, and develop best practices across IO. Collaborate with technical, legal, financial, and costing experts to align concepts with delivery strategies; provide senior project leadership on commercial issues and communicate recommendations to government and private-sector proponent teams. Requires extensive experience in infrastructure transaction structuring, project finance, and related financial analysis; advanced knowledge of delivery models; and strong negotiation and leadership capabilities. Education in finance (e.g., CFA, MBA, Economics, accounting) considered an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading transaction structuring in infrastructure, project finance or related fields
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure delivery models, project finance, business case development, and financial analysis methodologies
- Strong commercial judgment with experience negotiating complex commercial and financial terms
- Ability to develop commercially sound recommendations requiring multi-dimensional consideration
- Demonstrated ability to work across government, senior executives, and private-sector proponent teams
- Leadership capability to coach and mentor team members in a collaborative environment
