Job Summary
Full-time Commercial Loan Tax & Insurance Specialist responsible for booking and servicing all tax and insurance monitoring and payments, tracking and disbursing property tax bills and insurance premiums, performing annual escrow analyses, resolving shortages or delinquencies with borrowers, reviewing insurance policies for compliance, coordinating with vendors and loan officers on onboarding new loans, and serving as the main contact for insurance agents and tax assessors. Requires strong detail orientation, experience with commercial tax/insurance escrow, ACORD forms, and familiarity with third-party tax-tracking vendors (e.g., Lereta); must navigate related systems (e.g., Fiserv Signature, nCino) and maintain accurate digital loan files and regulatory compliance. Maintains thorough communication with borrowers, insurers, county tax offices, and lenders, and supports complex issue resolution related to force-placed insurance and parcel splits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 to 4 years of experience in loan operations focusing on commercial tax and insurance escrow processing (C&I, CRE, or Multifamily)
- Experience navigating Fiserv Signature and nCino platforms preferred
- Ability to read and interpret commercial loan documents, tax certificates, and ACORD forms (25 and 28)
- Strong math and analytical skills; attention to detail; ability to manage deadlines; effective communication with borrowers and vendors
- Knowledge of NFIP compliance rules and escrow regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in loan operations focusing on commercial tax and insurance escrow processing (C&I, CRE, or Multifamily)
- Experience with ACORD 25 and ACORD 28 forms
- FHLMC/Freddie Mac experience
- nCino and Fiserv Signature experience
- Lereta or similar third-party tax tracking vendors
- Strong math and analytical skills
