Commercial Loan Operations Team Lead

Job Summary
Oversee the daily workflow of commercial loan documentation, including setup, analysis, and rescripting of incoming files on the Bank's operating system. Coordinate internal activities with the lending team and external parties such as title companies and attorneys to ensure timely closings. Review all commercial loan packages for proper documentation, compliance with policies, and accurate inclusion of approval terms. Train new associates on specialized tasks and maintain the general ledger accounts for the department. Serve as a backup to the Manager and prepare documentation for extensions, modifications, and new loans. This role requires four years of commercial loan closing experience and three years of documentation experience. The position involves flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and overtime, with occasional out-of-town travel.
Required Qualifications
- Four years of commercial loan closing experience
- Three years of commercial loan documentation experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite
- Travel between Republic Banking facilities may be required including occasional out of town travel
- Flexible work schedule may include some evenings, weekends and/or overtime
- Must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds
- Close vision and distance vision
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and work in a team environment
- High energy level and strong sense of urgency
