Job Summary
Commercial Relationship Manager (SVP/EVP) responsible for business development, relationship management, and portfolio growth in C&I lending within a community bank. Lead pipeline from prospecting to approval and funding, structure client relationships for long-term profitability and risk discipline, and collaborate with Credit, Treasury Management, and underwriting to drive cash-management adoption and deposits. Requires strong credit judgment, leadership presence, and 7+ years of commercial lending or relationship management experience; in-office onboarding with travel to client meetings in the local market. Proven ability to develop business, manage a loan and deposit book, and mentor junior lenders in a lean, entrepreneurial bank environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
- Formal credit training program and/or prior credit analyst experience strongly preferred.
